It is not for nothing that cocoa is used worldwide for rituals, coaching, performance and energy work and has been considered a valuable medicinal plant for thousands of years.

safety instructions
– Pure cacao contains theobromine, which gives you wings and makes you awake. Theobromine acts like caffeine, only more gently and without the sharp drop in energy.
– Caffeine constricts the blood vessels and the heart has to pump the blood with more pressure.
– In contrast to caffeine, theobromine dilates the blood vessels, which means that more oxygen can be absorbed and you feel naturally fit and awake as a result.

We would like to ask you to slowly approach your feel-good amount of cocoa and to decide for yourself how much cocoa is good for you. In general, it is advised not to exceed the recommended amount of cocoa of 40g per day. Always enjoy cocoa in combination with water, because cocoa removes water from the body.

Danger!
Theobromine is toxic to dogs and cats. Even a single ceremonial dose of 30 grams can be dangerous for them. Please make sure that your cocoa supply and your full cocoa cups are out of the reach of your pets. Thanks!

More about cocoa

A traditional Tabasqueño cocoa ball corresponds to 80 grams of pure cocoa love. It is divided into 7 parts, with one part corresponding to a strong cup of cocoa and half a part to a light cup of cocoa.

Our Tabasqueño cocoa is perfect as a ceremonial cocoa because of its purity and origin. 3 portions of a thaler (approx. 34 g) correspond to a ritual, effective cocoa drink.

What you should know before preparing:

  1. Water is important, especially if you drink cocoa daily or want to attend a cocoa ceremony, because cocoa has a dehydrating effect.
  2. Cocoa has a lot of antioxidants and is therefore very healthy. However, animal protein, i.e. normal cow's milk (and sugar) inhibits the antioxidant effect of cocoa. For this reason, you should avoid cow's milk when preparing it and instead use water or plant-based milk, e.g. B. use unsweetened oat or almond milk.
  3. You should start with a smaller amount of cocoa and better not exceed 40 grams per day. Feel your way slowly and feel how much cocoa is good for you.

storage and durability
When our Mellow Magic Tabasqueño cocoa has finally made it into your home, look for a dry, cool and appreciative place. Provided it is not heated above room temperature or exposed to moisture, it can easily be stored for up to two years. Only his appearance has changed a little.
Screw-top jars or cans are well suited for storage.

cocoa preparation

A molinillo is a utensil with a long history, having been made in Mexico for centuries and used to cream and foam cocoa drinks.

How to use your Molinillo:
While the water, or plant-based milk, for the cocoa in the pot slowly warms up and the cocoa begins to melt, the Molinillo is used to stir and pound to dissolve the cocoa. When the cocoa is completely melted, take the molinillo and start to rhythmically rotate it while rubbing your palms together. The texture of the Molinillo gently froths the cocoa while the wooden rings on its shaft set the rhythm as it spins.

Set the right intention
Traditionally, especially in cocoa ceremonies, it is important to use the molinillo with the right intention. Before you start spinning it, collect yourself, close your eyes and focus on your heart space. Then start turning the molinillo to your own rhythm. This transfers your frequency and the frequency of your intention via the Molinillo into the cocoa, which you should then consciously consume and drink.
In this blog article we will show you exactly how to use your Molinillo correctly.

Cleaning & care
– Clean your Moinillo with water after each use and use a mild soap if necessary
- Dry it thoroughly
– You can disinfect it regularly with vinegar and lemon juice
– If you rub your Molinillo regularly with (olive) oil, the wood stays fresh longer
