A molinillo is a traditional cocoa whisk from Mexico that has been used in connection with the enjoyment of cocoa for centuries. We are proud and grateful that we were able to meet and accompany Jesús Torres Gómez and his family, who lovingly handcraft beautiful Molinillos - and have been for 4 generations.

A Molinillo - made with devotion - is the best complement to our Tabasqueño cocoa and a valuable accompaniment to your very personal cocoa ceremony.

Ein Molinillo Stab ist ein Utensil mit einer langen Geschichte, denn seit Jahrhunderten wird er in Mexiko hergestellt und verwendet, um Kakaogetränke cremig zu schlagen und zu schäumen.

How to use your Molinillo:
While the water, or plant-based milk, for the cocoa in the pot slowly warms up and the cocoa begins to melt, the Molinillo is used to stir and pound to dissolve the cocoa. When the cocoa is completely melted, take the molinillo and start to rhythmically rotate it while rubbing your palms together. The texture of the Molinillo gently froths the cocoa while the wooden rings on its shaft set the rhythm as it spins.

Set the right intention
Traditionell, besonders bei Kakaozeremonien, kommt es darauf an, den Molinillo Stab mit der richtigen Intention zu nutzen. Bevor du beginnst ihn zu drehen, sammle dich, schließe deine Augen und konzentriere dich auf deinen Herzraum. Dann beginne den Molinillo in deinem eigenen Rhythmus zu drehen. Dadurch überträgt sich deine Frequenz, und die Frequenz deiner Intention über den Molinillo in den Kakao, den du anschließend bewusst zu dir nehmen und trinken solltest.

High up in the mountains of Santa Catarina Ixtepeji, in the state of Oaxaca in Mexico, we got to know Jesús Torres Gómez and his family, who make beautiful molinillos by hand - and have been doing so for 4 generations!

How to use your Molinillo:

Uns war klar, dass es sich bei unserem Molinillo Projekt um ganz besondere Menschen, mit großer Hingabe und Liebe zu ihrer Arbeit, handeln muss, denn beim Kakaogenuss geht es vor allem um die Verbindung zum eigenen Herzen. Und diese soll mit dem Molinillo übertragen werden. Wir freuen uns riesig, dir mit diesem Molinillo Stab ein einmalig schönes Projekt vorzustellen.
